I’m at the final event of the Th!nk About It project in Rotterdam. We havge people from just about all Member States of the EU here, all of them bloggers, and the EP elections are now over. So how about use the knowledge in the room to look at the composition of the European Commission instead? Use the comments function to state who the likely European Commission nominees are from your country, and who you would like to get the nomination.

Having seen Alun Cairns returned in Vale of Glamorgan it strikes me that sleaze and scandal makes little impact if the electorate doesn't know who's actually running...
@MsMariamR @jonworth @NigelKBaker @JoP24048538 @JeffWorthEU The only two people I know who voted Conservative in my constituency knew absolutely nothing about the candidate, not even that it was a woman. A dead sheep with a Conservative rosette would be elected. One answer might be to only list names on the voting paper. No parties.
