The Daily Telegraph’s Brussels Correspondent David Rennie. One of his first postings was about the onseat.eu petition, and Rennie writes how JEF member Peter Strempel wrote to him about the petition – quite amusing. Read the post here. While I don’t like the Telegraph’s EU line very much, the blog is well worth a read and I’ve added it to the links in the right column.

What does Johnson do now?
1️⃣ Asks 🇪🇺 for more time (6 months?) but implements Protocol (Result: Unionists furious)
2️⃣ Unilaterally extends grace periods (Result: 🇪🇺 furious, takes 🇬🇧 to court)
3️⃣ Triggers Article 16 (Result: serious escalation, trade war?)
None are good…
