This is one of the oddest EU-related things I’ve come across recently. A colleague was looking for pictures of ‘Eurocrat’ in Google Images. That search drags up – among other things – a picture of Gerhard Schroeder, one of Daniel Hannan, and a few of a wire fox terrier. It turns out that Blackdale Eurocrat is a champion dog that has featured in competitions all over the world, and is the offspring of none other than Yomina v.d. Bismarckquelle and Corriecote Storm [link]. So the next time someone tells you that a Eurocrat is a boring person working in Brussels, tell them to think again. 🙂
