Rubbish.
If the Commission commented on an internal matter in an *opposition* party, people like you James would bemoan Commission over reach of power.
Commission will only act if *policy* is a concern when a party governs.
EU Commission president Ursula von der Leyen giving speech on anti-Semitism tonight.
But commission refuses to comment on Labour's anti-Semitism crisis, which has dragged on for years, becuase of election.
Smacks of cowardly cherry-picking rather than consistent line.
Three things to remember when you vote in #GE2019:
1) Whoever wins, Brexit won't get 'done'
2) All Brexit outcomes come with big costs
3) How Brexit is pursued matters deeply to what else a government can deliver
