The Brits have apparently reached the point where their credit card debt is starting to decline, but according to this interesting article in USA Today, we still have an average of $5188 of credit card debt per person – about ??3000! Remarkable that is the average figure! Further, one in five people was still paying for Christmas 2004 presents just prior to Christmas 2005. I’m glad I have a decent grip on my finances!

Anyone with an eye on what Borrell has said over the years can’t be surprised at this. The only shock is this hasn’t happened sooner!

@jonworth The thing is Yugoslavia broke up into the constituent countries (unitary states).
At least England can be considered a unitary state on its own, but this is actually wrecking England and splitting bits off now. That's insane.
